Original November 22, 1963 Wire Service Tickertape of the First Reporting of The Assignation of John F. Kennedy (JFK).  This lengthy section of ticker tape is between 6 and 9 feet long.   Here is the first part of the verbiage.   I haven't unraveled the whole tape for fear of damaging it but I did loosen it up enough to get some high points out of it.   "BULLETIN..GOVERNMENT SOURCES IN WASHINGTON SAY PRESIDENT KENNEDY IS DEAD?. RB234PES 22.... J DBBAYING?..  YARBOROUGH SAID HE WAS IN THE THIRD CAR BEHIND THE PRESIDENT? ..HE ADDED. "IT SEEMED TO ME THAT AT LEAST TWO OF THE SHOTS CAME FROM OUR RIGHT REAR?  I CAN NOT SAY ABOUT THE THIRD"  POLICE HAVE ALREADY SPREAD A GIANT DRAGNET AROUND THE CITY SEARCHING FOR THE ASSASSIN. Other points mentioned are:  Description of the assassin, time of death, racism, nuclear warfare, Russia, the condition of Mrs. Kennedy and what she was heard to say in the car, where the gunman was seen, the early closing of the stock exchange, where the president was shot , Johnson immediately becoming President and his leaving the hospital. No international buyers for this item as it has significant value as a United States of America historical item.  I find it interesting that it mentions the "third shot" and not being able to tell where it came from.  Maybe there is something to the "Conspiracy Theory".   I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime if bidding activity is low.  I reserve the right to cancel this auction and convert to a Buy It Now on EBAY if I receive a "can't turn it down" offer.
