Overview: Offered for sale is a truly superb authentic vintage Van Cleef & Arpels make-up compact. Crafted beautifully in 18k yellow gold the compact is embedded with 56 carats of shimmering blue sapphires. Certainly a very high-end piece from the venerable jeweler. The compact is fully hallmarked (see below) and in superb original condition. A rare find on the market today this is certainly one listing not to be missed. The compact is immediately recognizable as Van Cleef & Arpels and authenticity is guaranteed.  Particulars: Weight: 160 grams Stones:  A total of 56 carats of box cut blue sapphires are beautifully embedded into the compact.      Size & Measurements: The compact measures 2 3/4 inches x 2 1/2 inches. Metal & Hallmark: Solid 18k yellow gold. The compact is fully hallmarked "750" and the double eagle head (French assay mark for 18k gold).
