' Description I have been collecting vintage lunchboxes for several years, but I've become involved with other crafts...so it's time for these gems to go to other good homes... I will be auctioning over 200 lunchboxes, including the Jetsons, Star Trek dome (incredible!), Disney Bus, Gunsmoke Double L, and many more - so please SEE my other auctions - and CHECK BACK often! FOR AUCTION:  This unusual and hard-to-find ASTRONAUT SPACE dome lunchbox was made by KST in 1960.  It is in very good condition with colors bright and shiny and great artwork.  Latches, hinges and handle are in excellent condition.  There are two large dents across the front which are hard to see in the photos...I will be glad to send additional ones if you like.  There is some oxidation along the rims and a pushed out dent in the back, as well as a major scratch on the bottom (see pic #3), but none of this detracts from its beauty.  The thermos also shines with gorgeous colors.  There are some small spots of missing color on the upper back - again, please email me if you'd like additional photos.  Collectors' books value these two together at $330 in C8 condition - and I'd say these are better than that.  They will make a great addition to your lunchbox collection or space/airplane memorabilia!  Please email me if you need additional pictures.  But it Now price has been lowered!
