The shade is beautiful quality as is the color, its a vertical rib, with a with a diagonal rainbow swirl. I've owned this for about 15 yrs, and have never seen another one like it. This was made by one of the better glass houses in France. Some of these are marked France Depose' , unfortunately this one is not. I have had several expert glass enthusiasts in the past contact me regarding this one telling how RARE the color is and the shade . It it also high domed its 6-1/2" tall and 10" wide. It is just beautiful in person the picture do not capture the real beauty. The Base is a Plum & Atwood, it has been laquered and re-wired with the switch on the cord. The lamp base is brass and is highly embossed. It measures 15" tall to the top of the shade holder. This beauty has been in my collection for 15 yrs, but its time to thin out a bit.
