G. Ernie's photographs were the primary source of scientific analysis of the Shroud for many years. The total of five photographs include one positive and one negative of the Shroud; two photographs with special features and a photograph of the viewing of the Shroud above the altar. All photos are stamped with official La Santa Sindone stamp. They are copyrighted 1935. Not all official stamps are shown as to maintain integrity of photographs. Photo sizes of the Shroud, both positive, and negative are 6 " w X 19.5" l. Photos with stain image is 15.5"w X 19.5 l. Alter view with Shroud 16"w X 20" l.
