Circa 1900 REAL' Description Guaranteed authentic.  This old, circa 1890's - 1900's, Ute or Jicarilla Apache shirt is the real thing.  It's all sinue sewn,(with some thread repairs), and all sinue beaded.  The beads are all pre 1900 bead colors, to include rose whitehearts, greasy yellow, cobalt, apple green and white.  The beads are attached in the "lazy stitch" manner.  The soft leather is commercial tanned, and looks to be split, with the rough side to the outside.  It has a great patina, and shows plenty of use.  It has a large attached bib.  The neck is lined with old red trade cloth which is fastened with leather whipstitch.  LOTS of fringe, going down the sleeves, around the bottom, and along the bib.  There is no beadwork on the backside.  There are signs of body paint on the inside.   This is a very nice looking old shirt, and the condition is very good with minimum beadloss.  Make sure and see my other auctions for more nice Native American items.
