Ebay has made so many changes the past few months that have caused us unnecessary aggrivation and eliminated payment options for our customers that we regrettably feel the following must be said.... to all the great customers out there ... we are 100% dedicated to serving you and appreciate your business. We're sure many of you are aware of all the new rules and policies Ebay has put into play over the past few months. Since the implementation of no negative feedback for buyers we've had 11 non-paying bidders.... before that in all 4 years we had under 5.. none of which we gave negative feedback to nor reported them... we simply relisted......  we have left only one negative feedback for a buyer in 4 years because they left a completely unreasonable negative feedback on us, reported us to Paypal because the USPS broke their item.... all we requested to issue a refund was for them to return the item for a claim.... they would not... subsequently we found out the reason why they wouldn't return was because they had bought it to the Post Office and filed their own claim and also filed a claim with Paypal..this "double-dipping" is illegal ... needless to say after hours and hours and hours on the phone with Paypal after faxing them proof that they had filed two claims Paypal finally gave us the money back that they took from our account to refund this dishonest person. So if you are thrilled about this new rule and view it as an opportunity to purchase on a whim, bid frivously and/or leave a negative feedback over the smallest issue without practicing human decency by contacting us first about a problem because there are no consequences for buyers anymore than please do us a favor and do not bid or buy our items. There are many, many great customers out there and we are very grateful for our wonderful customers .... we don't need the headaches nor do we want to waste our valued time on those without morals because it takes away from the time we prefer to spend on serving those with good intentions. Now Ebay also says we can no longer accept checks or money orders .... which leaves the only option of Paypal ... and who owns Paypal?? Yes there are similar services out there but not as easily integrated into the Ebay Auction Templates as Paypal.... while many of our customers prefer Paypal which is fine this new rule is anti-American as far as we are concerned......  there are many people out there that do not feel comfortable having their personal information stored on some server in Cyberspace and who can blame them with identity theft being so prevalent.... therefore ... ANYONE THAT HAS AN ISSUE WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY WITH A PERSONAL CHECK OR MONEY ORDER PLEASE CONTACT US... WE STILL BELIEVE IN CHOICE AND PRIVACY....If you email a question or a comment in which we do not respond please do not send the question again. We check our spam folder daily, it didn't get lost..we just chose not to waste our time responding to rude comments from people that have obviously way too much time on their hands ... do us and society a favor and take this extra time you have on your hands and do something positive...volunteer, start a charity... spread cheer..not misery...  If you sent a question that went unanswered it means we deemed it completely absurd and blocked you from bidding on our items ... questions such as "you have too many pictures and I don't like your angles, it confuses me" and "this item sold for much less money so i'll offer you etc...." are examples of what we don't respond to  .... if this practice of ours offends you than simply move on.... you don't have to buy our items ... blacklist us, etc.... but please don't try to engage us in an arguement.... we don't play that way...Finally, if you see an item hasn't sold over a period of time please don't think it's an invitation to offer a ridiculous amount. We sell to the dealers on 1stdibs, put some of our stock in Auctions, work with many Interior designers, sell at Design Shows, have a website and of course our wonderful regular customers... while we are aware our prices are not in the least "bargain basement" and we do often use reserves which some people do not feel are in the "spirit" of Ebay we are a business, we have what we have determined is an acceptable bottom line for Ebay listings which is always less than the other selling formats we practice and for anyone that lives in NY we offer the same items as many of the Modern Shops at a third of the cost... we are only stating this to save some from wasting their time if they practice low ball offers ... we won't respond .... if you have a reasonable offer by all means feel free to email us anytime...Thank you for taking the time to read this...
