This jacket originally belonged to Col.D.Karnezis who an F-89H Scorpion pilot out of Hamilton AFB w/84th FIS in the late 1950's. This rare jacket is in great overall condition. The nylon shell is a bright sage green exhibiting little fading. The lining is near perfect with little wear. The knit has some scattered moth nips. The Crown zipper is the early peg type variant. It works like a dream. The jacket sports leather Col. ranks on both shoulders. The USAF decal is about 95% complete!The name tag on the upper chest is the early black & silver foil wings variant. The patch is the early 84th FIS. All in all one rare bird in excellent condition. A great jacket to wear or add to your growing collection. make it yours!
