Description hotplaterz Store Lot of Over 900 Vintage Postcards, Souvenir,Holiday!! I picked these up at a estate sale today. THEY ARE NOT CHERRY PICKED!!! I did not keep even one out to sell by itself.I started to try to separate, grade, date, look up, whatever and my general laziness took over. Trust me it was still lots of work going through, counting, etc.There are over 150 greeting cards, Washington's Birthday, St. Patrick, Halloween, 4th July, Decoration Day, Birthday, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine, New Year and Christmas. Some are postmarked, some unused. Posts are around 1909-1913.There are 96 Souvenir Folders from many states. I don't see dates on them but to me have the look of 40's to 70's, most matte and look old to me.Some have either a Scott or Susan on the front in ink, as do some of the regular state postcards.There are over 700 state postcards, about 1/4 at least are the older matte finish (is this what's called linen?), some with posts in the 30's and 40's, some without. The rest are the gloss type, and any that have posts look to be 1968-1970 for the newest dates. Many of the gloss look to be 50's to 60's. These are all from the following states; California, Colorado, Florida, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Main, Mass, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, new Jersey, New Mexico, New Tory, N. Carolina, N. Dakota, Oregon , Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhodie Island, S, Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, & D.C.,West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.There are also some vintage Philippines, Americana, small folder type booklets, Military, other countries, advertising and whatever. A instant collection for a starter.As mentioned some are used, some not. No trash, maybe a bent corner, scuff, tiny tear, slight curl or other minor flaws.
