Chrome Card titled Skyline of a portion of downtown Austin, Texas. Colorado River is in the Foreground. Kodachrome by Jack Taylor, K-183-D-7 45612; pub by "Don" Barels, McAllen, Texas; Dextone, Dexter Press, Pearl River, N.J. Linen card captioned: Washington Monument, Washington, D.C., C-31 69773. Descriptive Paragraph on back of card reads: The great obelisk of white marble is the highest work of masonry in the world, its height being 555 ft 5-1/8". Owing to its overtowering height, it can be seen from all approaches to the city. Card probably dates from the 1920s. Linen card with caption: The Natiion's Memorial to Washington and Lincoln, Washington, D.C. C-63, 69801 Tenschert.
