Beautiful handmade and handpainted earthenware from Alentejo, Portugal. Each item has its own charm and you may notice (and welcome)  differences in color and design, including the borders, between each piece which certainly adds to the charm of the display. All items are dishwasher and oven safe. Microwaving is not recommended. The Alentejo is the region with the most active artesanal tradition in Portugal. In the local pottery workshops, which are called olarias, the work is still done on a family basis.
