This eagle topped gold tone badge was recently discovered in the capital of Louisiana, Baton Rouge.   The center seal shows a unique version of the Louisiana state seal within a shield shape including the state motto, Union Justice & Confidence.  The pin is missing from the back.  The back is hallmarked " C.D.
