This wonderful personal letter was hand written by James Garfield. It is on Mentor Ohio letter head and is dated Aug, 12, 1880. It is signed at the end, as can be seen in the photo. It is in cellophane with paperclip in the corner, just the way it came out of the estate. It has crease lines, as can be seen in the photo and is being sold as is.
