This pitcher is very, very heavy and is made of opaque solid green, (jadite) colored glass. The glass is embossed all over with a floral press and is pressed on the bottom of the pitcher as well. Just beautiful...and very cottage looking, but chic at the same time. Measures: 8 3/4" tall x 9 1/2" from spout to handle, 5 1/2" wide at top of pitcher with a 5" diameter round base. This pitcher is not vintage, but rather a very well made modern piece of jadite glass. Perfect for the vintage, shabby, cottage, country but chic home decor styling.
