Description
Snyder's Treasures is pleased to offer An Original and Authentic German World War Two Obersalzberg Berchtesgaden Handpainted Gold Decorated Berghof Porcelain Oval Bowl This is the real deal! This is a bright white porcelain china, made in the 1930s (the style is by Wolfgang von Wersin, the principle designer in 1936) by Bavarian craftsman at the famed 250 year old Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory near Munich, with the characteristic green under glaze Bavarian Royal Arms marks on the back, as shown below: All pieces feature handpainted gold decorations and rim treatments, similar to the representative decorative element shown below: This is a large oval bowl. It measures 6-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches. It is marked as shown above. The condition is very good to near excellent, with some slight signs of wear from frequent use. I am a fair and honorable person. Winning bidder pays stated shipping and handling charges. Unless otherwise stated, there is a minimum $2.00 charge for insurance. If you DON'T want insurance, PLEASE tell us. Please make arrangements for payment within 10 days of the closing of the auction.
