The lamp stands 59" tall and the shade is 8" in diameter. Neither base nor shade is signed, but I believe both to be genuine Handel. The base has a beautiful dark brown all original finish, although the bottom is showing some signs of corrosion. The shade fitter has its original metal turn key and works just fine. Although its hard to see it in the pictures, the shade is constructed very well and was carefully made with glass going from a dark green at the top to a lighter green towards the bottom edge. There are also two bands of bright red granite backed glass in the shade, one near the top and the other near the apron. Both have a staggered pattern. This gives it a very nice Arts & Crafts look. The lamp appears to be 100% original (except for the cord which has been replaced). I see no damage to the shade, and no heat cracks or replaced pieces. I am listing this lamp without a reserve and it will sell to the high bidder on 11/23. I have a number of other great lamps that I recently purchased, so please see my other auctions and buy-it-nows. Successful bidder to pay $75 shipping/insurance on this lamp which will come carefully packed with the shade in one box and the base in another. Insurance is also included in this shipping fee.
