The set is pictured in the 1976 book -- "Hummel The Complete Collector's Guide and Illstrated Reference" by Eric Ehrmann. The 2 page spread from the book is shown in the 5th image. This set does not include the We Congratulate or the Flying Angel figures. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs on 12 figures. Beautiful condition! There is a small chip on the bottom hole on one of the angels and light crazing on some of the figures.The mark on all figures is a blue V with bee, (copyright symbol) by W Goebel W Germany 1951 M I Hummel.  This is the mark used from 1964 to 1972.On all of the large figures and the Baby Jesus and the two angels, "M I Hummel" is signed on the back (clothing) of each. On the donkey and the ox, "M I Hummel" is signed on the bottom. On the sheep, "M I Hummel" is incised on the bottom. All of the figures are marked 1951. On most it is incised on the bottom, on the others, written in ink. Some figures also contain an artists signature, usually a single letter -- "n" or "t", "g", etc.The wooden stable is 26" wide x 18" high and 13" deep and includes a wooden star. It can be disassembled for storage.
