Only the highest quality woods like rosewood, ebony, blackwood, mahogany and teak are used in building this model ship. Flags are made from material not plastic. The model is handcrafted from scratch by skilled craftsmen. The ship is built according to scale of the original ship through original plans or, pictures using plank on frame construction. The hull is joined by multi-pieces of dry thin wooden bar together. Inside the hull a special glue is used which helps thin wooden bars stay close to one another and not split, crack or twist when the weather changes.
