' Description STRONGLY PREFER MONEY ORDERS OR CHECKS PLEASE!!  What we have for auction is a truly magnificent animated Santa Claus figure. This mechanized unit stands a very imposing 7ft. tall (Santa is 6ft. and base is approx. 14" tall). He gently rocks back and forth on his plywood and corrugated board platform. Operates simply and smoothly. His outfit could use a gentle cleaning. Lower portion of beard has a very faint red stain, which could be cleaned. 3-4 dirt marks on white brim of his hat. His hands are designed so that you could easily insert a holiday bell or perhaps a form-fitted toy bag. While somewhat sturdy, the plywood and corrugated cardboard (which represents the red bricks) could stand replacement as there are numerous seam rips, or, could be mended if you so chose). Better yet, if you just line the base with cotton snow fluff, this wear would go unnoticed. This is a high quality commercial unit - not to be confused with the cheap store-bought "toys" available nowadays. We had purchased him about 25 years ago. He was only used during the Christmas season - tucked carefully into the corner of a family-run restaurant. While he does show some age, he is overall in great shape and would be the crowning centerpiece of a holiday-themed display. While somewhat bulky, he weighs approx 40-50 pounds, so fairly easy for one person to move. Due to the overall size of Santa, we are requesting that this be available only as a pick-up item.  Selling as-is, where is.
