Featuring a young black child scared by a glowing JOL walking towards her. Notice the owl sitting on the tree branch in front of the full moon! OUTSTANDING and VERY RARE! We believe this is one of only five known Black Americana Halloween postcards from the early 1900's! The caption reads, 'Strange sights are seen on Halloween'. Series 6505. Measures approximately 5-3/8 x 3-3/8 inches. An excellent vintage postcard with outstanding graphics! The condition is VERY FINE! Postmarked 1912! Light edge and corner wear with a small upper-left corner-tip crease which is mostly noticeable on the backside. Note that "eBay ID PostcardPalace" is on the scanned images only, not the postcard.
