The stable is wood, covered in dried moss like material, with touches of white, red, and gold paint. Marked on back: Made in Italy. Measures 11 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches X 7 inches. The back side looks like it has been hung on a nail at some point, or had a lighting cord through it. The figures are white plastic with gold painted trim.  Very nice details. Tallest figure stands 4 inches high. Figures are: Baby Jesus in the Manger Mary Joseph The Three Kings or Wisemen Lamb Cow and an extra~~ A caped gentleman playing bag-pipes. They are glued to the floor of the creche ( I don't know if the glue is original to these sets ). I wiggled one Wiseman loose so I could verify the maker. They are marked: DEPOSE ITALY with the famous SPIDER MARK logo. Creamy cotton batting and dried moss cover the floor and surround the pieces. Comes in the Original cardboard box, with no markings other than a tag which says: Soggelto and Altezza.  Box has some wear and is written on by previous owner with Nativity and 1967. Condition is good, I am not an expert, so can't really judge. Some pieces appear to have some gold wear, but may have been made that way.  Pieces do have some soil / dust. ALLERGY WARNING!  It has been displayed in a home where Potpourri, Scented Candles, Sprays, or Plug-ins were used.
