This outstanding French bronze inkwell has a figural monkey sitting at a desk. It reads Amerique on the page hanging off the desk and there is writing on the cover of both books. It has nice detail with a rich patina. It dates from the 19th Century and measures 7 + ¼ inches tall by 7 + ½ inches across by 4 + ½ inches wide. It is in excellent condition with the exception that the nut that holds the little inkwell needs to be tightened. Also one of the inserts looks to be a replacement. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Charges will be paid by Buyer. Insurance is optional, but highly recommended, as we will not be responsible for any loss or damage on uninsured items.
