Funny little old couple peers around the sides of their arm chairs at one another. These are likely some particular characters from literature, but I don't know who they are meant to be. Please email me if you have some information to share!Bookends are in wonderful condition without any issues other than a bit of chipped paint here and there that seems to be confined to her white cap and his white vest, nothing extensive or detracting. More design detail than many Armor Bronze pieces. Please see photos provided of all sides. I love all the small details in this pair from the fringed bottom of the wing chairs, to his tiny spectacles, to her umbrella with curved wire handle. And how about those faces?
