The inscription reads (spelled EXACTLY as engraved): Presented to the Veteran Fireman's Ass. by READING VET VOL FIRE ASS. for the highest number of votes cast during bazaar week Nov. 14-21, 1914 It measures 22-1/2 inches long, with a 9-1/4 fluted bell. This is a view looking down on the mouthpiece. This is a very scarce and desirable fire department presentation item. The condition is near excellent, with deep tarnish overall, as shown.
