This teapot is what I search for when I go shopping for the store and for myself! It is a ca. early 1900's, beautifully colored Gray Graniteware mottled teapot with a brass base and hinged pewter top, handle & belly trim. Measuring 8" from base to top of handle, 9½" from base to finial and 7" from base to top of spout. I have seen very few of these, especially in this condition -- only a VERY tiny area of crazing in the enamel at the center of the "splash" design on the body. Collector's Piece DELUXE!   This is a gorgeous piece for display or for use in the kitchen.
