The album has photos from 1910 to 1919. The album was compiled by a Swiss man who participated in these sports along with his team. The images remind one of the film, "Chariots of Fire" or images from the German film maker, Leni Riefenstahl. The photos show the gentleman and his team at competitions and some at play. The nature and mood of the film also evoke a style that was popularized by Bruce Weber later in the 20th century or that inspired magazines like Physique Pictorial.
