Distinctive and innovative cloisonne inlay techniques give this box incredible depth and beauty. Like a magnificent museum painting, this astonishingly superb box is adorned with an incredible scene. Uplifting renderings of vases, flowers and leaves in gorgeous shades of pulsating, sultry, luscious tones are magnificent. The luminous quality of the exhilarating hues and fascinating texture are unbelievably sensual. This truly marvelous box would look fabulous on any surface. It would be a great gift, especially with a hidden surprise inside. Interior and bottom are rich teal - peacock enamel. So amazing! It is in very good condition with some very tiny age spots on the brass color metal and other natural textural characteristics. There are no chips or cracks.
