These magnificent Antique Fruit Scales came originally from a  property at The Basin in Victoria Australia. Solid Brass sign at top of these Scales says - DAYTON OHIO COMPUTING SCALE CO. These Scales stand 29 inches high. Depth is 18 inches. Width is 19 inches. The cradle is solid bronze. The copper scoop is solid copper. The fancy rings at the sides of the barrel are gilded. The fancy frame around the front glass is solid brass. The frame around small rectangular back window is solid brass. All brass is clear lacquered.
