This magnificent Scales is very rare as most shops just had a flat tray Scales for a General Store.  Having the scooped Fruit scoop had a more limited use, Only for a Fruit shop. Height is 32 inches Width is 19 inches Depth is 19 inches. At very top, solid Brass nameplate 'THE COMPUTING SCALE CO.  Dayton Ohio USA' Under the Scales is a concealed large iron turntable 30 cm in diam. Scales is Gloss Black and all Brass is clear lacquered. I am and have been an antique dealer for nearly forty years and just love restoring antiques back to their former glory.
