What a BEAUTY! This is a rare find for the truly obsessed mid-century collector. I am guessing this to be an early fifties model steel cabinet with enameled porcelain sink top. Double basins are tough to find, as are metal cabinets with virtually NO RUST! In my collecting for my 50's kitchen, I ended up with 5 sinks and 4 stoves, as well as tons of pink tile, so be sure to check out my other auctions! This sink is, by far, the most sturdy I have seen. The drawers are almost perfect, and the center section below the sink is without rust! I don't even know how that is possible! There ARE FLAWS...but I tried to take very accurate photographs so that you can see what you're getting into. The base cabinet could probably clean up just a bit nicer and does have some rust along the bottom edge. However, assume the basin isn't going to get any better, as I spent a good part of the day cleaning it! This piece is about 36" tall, 25" deep, and exactly 66" wide. It would definitely make a big statement in your kitchen. I had planned to use it in my own renovation project, but it was just too big for my small space. Feel free to ask me questions.
