Christmas gift is an actual dual signed (by BOTH President Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt ) matte finish photo w/ sentiment ~ Christmas 1941 printed on lower portion.   Photo is a copyrighted AP photo of President Roosevelt and Eleanor at Hyde Park,  New York (VAL-KILL) during the summer of 1941 that was used as the FIRST and ONLY handsigned Christmas gift from President Roosevelt.   This official Presidential Christmas gift is historic for a couple of reasons.  First its by far one of the most desireable Presidential Christmas cards/gift prints to obtain by serious collectors in this field.  Second this rare signed Presidential gift print/photo was signed and gifted only two weeks after the sobering attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 ("...a date which will live in infamy...")  by the Japanese and the United States direct involement into World War II.  President Roosevelt held his executive staff Christmas party in late December of 1941 and presented a mere 404 dual handsigned photos during the solemn occasion to his executive staff in the White House.  This is one of those very rare signed official Presidential Christmas gifts from that very event.   This item was obtained directly from the estate of a very close associate of President Roosevelt here in Washington, D.C.
