Here is an old 1940's vintage Stag Beer porcelain two sided neon sign. Most likely hung above the outside door of some old roadhouse. It is in it's as found condition with the neon missing, however includes the porcelain bullnose on the end of the sign, original housing, hangers, and transformer inside. This sign measures 54 1/2 inches wide, 30 inches high, and 8 inches deep. Made by the R. Tunica Electric Co, St Louis, for Griesedieck Western Brewery Company, Bellville Illinois. Sign shows porcelain loss only where the stand offs for the neon tubes are bolted to. A very nice sign for it's age.
