He was a real self promoter every year he gave his customer a mug or dish or something with his name on it.After the 1904 Baltimore fire he bought a fire engine that a building had fallen on and displayed it at the bar. The building still stand, but is no longer a bar.These mugs were made by the Edwin Bennett pottery company in Baltimore.This one is 4 3/4" tall. Good luck bidders !!!
