The Natural Bridge was once owned by Thomas Jefferson, who built a visitors' cabin and kept a guest book. The Natural Bridge, a limestone arch, is 215 feet high and has a span of 90 feet. A public highway crosses the bridge in the present day. This interesting magazine article was removed from the July, 1891 issue of "New England Magazine."
