The ribbon is approx. 6" X 2 1/2". The ribbon is in pretty good condition considering its age. This is an original authentic rare item. A cool piece for your collection.  There are NO tears or rips in this ribbon. It is in tact! There are some minor issues: Some staining near where it reads Victory. There is a slight dog ear in the top right corner. Some discoloration throughout. Again, these are MINOR considering the age of this item. I believe this to be silk. This item belonged to the prevous owners grandfather. It is in a case with a glass cover. His grandfather put this in this case right before World War II for safe keeping.
