Description
"Soldiers of the Queen" "Where's the Coward that would not Dare to fight for such a Queen" Patriotic postcard from the Boer War era published by J.C. Wilson & Co. of Montreal Quebec, 1899 View shows Britannia holding a flag with past wars on it, India, Crimea, Waterloo Penninsula. Rallying around the flag and Brittania are soldiers with banners across their chests & hats identifiing them as Natal, Cape, Queensland, N. S. Wales, New Zealand, Canada & India. Printed on an blank undivided back; postally unused.
